About Me
Last update: April, 2025.

I received my B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA), Brazil, in 2003, and my M.Sc. degree also from ITA, Brazil, in 2005. From 2006 to 2013 I worked at PADTEC S.A., Brazil, as firmware developer and, after, as people, project and product manager. In 2007 I concluded my MBA in Project Management at Fundação Getulio Vargas - FGV, Brazil. I concluded my doctorate in Automation at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) - FEEC, Brazil under the supervision of Prof. Dr. José Cláudio Geromel. During my doctorate I did a Research internship at the University of Houston, Texas, USA. As soon as I completed my doctorate in 2016, I also carried out my post-doctoral research at UNICAMP, FEEC, from 2017 until mid-2018. Since July 2018, I have been a professor at ITA of control theory in the Division of Electronic Engineering (IEE).
I am currently a member of ITA's Woman in STEM2D project, I was the coordinator of the STEM2D Mentoring activities in 2024. I was also the Coordinator of ITA's Scientific and Technological Initiation Activities Program (PAIC), linked to the Dean of Postgraduate Studies (IP), from March to August 2024. I integrate the Pro-DC Working Group (GTDC) as a member and coordinate the Laboratory of Computer Control (LCC). My research activities today are on topics related to Networked Control Systems (NCS), Optimal Control oapplied to Hybrid Systems, as well as applications on eVTOLs and aircraft identification and control. Some partnerships in development are with the University of Talca, Chile; with UNICAMP, Brazil; UNIFESP, Brazil; UNESP, Brazil.
